In the NFC you can make a case for both of these teams. The 49ers and their stout defense was number 2 in points allowed. Number 3 in total yards, 4th against the pass, and 3rd against the rush. That -is- scary, kinda reminds me of the 2001 Ravens. In the other hand the Falcons are a high powered offense no doubt. They're top 8 in all offensive categories except for one. They were 29th in rushing, and that gives an already stingy rush defense even more to lick their chops over.

At the end of the day I think San Francisco's multi powered offense is going to be too much for the "A". Atlanta's been weak against tightends, and Vernon Davis is top notch. Focus on him and Michael Crabtree, actin like Jerry 2k out there, will carve you up. And I'm not even getting into Frank Gore and Kaepernick you get it. The only way I can see Atlanta winning is if they get way behind early and the 49ers start to lag in the secondary.
